“With all the things my wife had to do while she was pregnant and how tiring it is at the end, I took on finding a newborn photographer. I was a little worried about it because photos are really important to my wife. I looked at what feels like every newborn photographer in the Twin cities website to find what I knew she was looking for. She didn’t want novelty shots; she wanted candid shots that really looked like us and captured how much we love our little guy.
Having Brittany take photos of our newborn was fantastic. She was very flexible with our needs in the first weeks of being parents and moved around our session to accommodate them. Her experience knowing what will be comfortable and look good together was very helpful. She created a relaxed atmosphere which helped us all enjoy the experience. And, most importantly, the photos turned out amazing. Her photos captured what the early days were like and will help us to remember that special time forever.

how far in advance should we book?
I HEARD YOU TALK ABOUT FILM ON INSTAGRAM- WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY YOU SHOOT FILM?
One thing that sets me apart is that I can shoot both digital (on my digital camera) and film (on my film camera)! Film is just a different medium, and it renders a nostalgic, imperfect vibe that I love, so I love getting to add it in! It's something that is much harder to do than digital photography, and not a lot of photographer's can shoot film anymore, so it's kind of just a special bonus. I have a couple posts about why I love and shoot film over on instagram if you want to know more about it!
I don't even bother stressing about the weather unless it is 24-48 hours in advance because Minnesota weather is wild and ALWAYS changes. If it isn't looking great day of, we will keep an eye on it and make a call. We will work together and find a date to reschedule, I would never charge for this!
